Where to get the face painting goods, and some button designs

Okay, I have a few options to choose from, but I'm not sure which decision would be best. It depends on money, and what our course leaders think at the moment. Here's an e-mail I sent to one of the unit tutors about this. I haven't had a reply yet, but I will upload it in my next post when I get it.

Hey there Linnéa Dimitriou!

I have a question to ask about my specific idea for the project. Basically, I am part of a group who are offering several different things on a stall, and my skill I shall be sharing is facepainting. I figured it is something that is quite unique, and will attract younger children to our stall, and in doing so, parents as well! Also, because it is almost Summer, it is something that should potentially attract a lot of customers.

However, I'm not sure whether there is a restriction on how I get my supplies. I know of a charity called River Drama run by some people I know very well, that has some very professional paints and equipment. I have been told that I can offer a donation in exchange for using the paints. I could also buy a whole set for my future use, but that could cost me £35-£70 on Amazon.

What advice do you have for me? I want to get the paints asap so I can start practising (on some of my family and friends, lucky them! Haha!)

Thank you, I hope to hear from you very soon!

I have also checked out some facepainting artists on the interwebs for some further research. I would really like to try and do some more professional designs then the ones I have done before, because I feel that I have mastered the general techniques enough. I will post the special designs in a different post, but here's some informative vids that show important tools I will need.

One other thing, I have designed some button ideas in my sketchbook today. I tried to come up with as many universal ideas as possible, so that they provide for a range of different people.

Sorry about the slightly raw quality, I quickly photoboothed this image XD
