"Sparkling Faces" correspondence - Not a good resonse :(

Got a reply, and it's bad news I'm afraid! Below is the e-mail I got back, and below that is the e-mail I sent:

I'm just super buy right now, and this project sounds like alot more work than I have time to offer.

There are alot of great face painters out there that may be able to assist you in your research,

Before I start, I would like to say how talented you are at painting faces. You make it an art form, and it is really inspiring seeing you work.

"Sparkling Faces" correspondence

I've just sent an e-mail to the lady in charge of Sparkling Faces. Unfortunately I lost the text I wrote because I forgot to copy and paste it here, but it was basically just a kind e-mail asking permission to research her company.

On the website it says she will reply within 24hrs, so fingers-crossed I will get a good response!

Our work so far!

We have done some mean facepaints and have made a bit of money. We have profited around £8 for our work commissioned from other people. If we deduct the money paid for the extra paints and wipes (which comes to £15approx) we have a profit of minus £7

Here are some pics of some happy customers!

Me and Mel have also successfully secured some events to go to, in order to get some more money. My Dad's school has a Summer Fayre every year, and up to 3,000 people come to enjoy the stalls and stuff on offer. I talked to the guy in charge (Keith Burden) and he said he'd love to have us there. This'll be the first time they'll have face painters at the fayre, so I think it's going to be a hit!

Mel has contacted a friend who needs somebody to paint the faces of some dancers soon, so we might be involved with that too!

It's all pretty exciting! I still need to do a little research into Health and Safety and general business managing. I hope to e-mail a professional face painter today, so expect to see that soon!
